Sixteen years after David Naughton howled in London, Tom Everett Scott and Julie Delpy share the Paris moonlight. In spite of some absurd situations (such as leaping from the Eiffel Tower), this long-overdue sequel is a mostly-pleasant surprise.
The one thing the two American Werewolf films have in common is top-notch special effects. With the acting falling somewhere between average and awful, director Anthony Waller does well to keep the impressive effects coming at a brisk pace.
