BELA LUGOSI. He is the main reason for seeing this early film version of Bram Stoker's classic novel.

With this film, Universal Pictures established the formula for nearly all vampire movies that followed. It would launch the studio as a major monster movie-maker, producing such classics as Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Wolf Man, and Creature From the Black Lagoon (and their many sequels) over a span of three decades.
