This was the first and has long been considered the best of many Dracula films made at Hammer Studios, the British House of Horror.

Christopher Lee stars as Bram Stoker's vampire villain in this stylish re-telling of the classic tale. He is no Bela Lugosi, but he is quite good as the fiery fiend. Peter Cushing is also excellent as the Count's cross-bearing, stake-driving nemesis, Dr. Van Helsing.

Horror of Dracula (a.k.a. Dracula 1958) is a ghoulishly fine production with superb direction and editing and a most-satisfying ending, all backed with a chilling music score.
